My Story

I grew up in an average family, was average at sports, was average in school, and pretty much average in all aspects of life except that I had eight children. (That's way beyond average) One day, it occurred to me that I was not destined for an average life. God spoke to my heart and told me I would never rise above my mindset! My average thinking was hindering me from EVERYTHING I desired. Life was good, but I always yearned for greatness. I just never believed it could be achieved... by me. That day changed everything for me. Now, I concentrate and commit myself to excellence in every area of life. I am 64, with 8 children, 7 wonderful in-laws, and 22 grandchildren. I cherish my relationship with my Creator more than ever. I am still deeply in love with my wife of 39 years, in better shape than I was in my 30s, and excelling in other areas more than ever. I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, being outdoors, lifting weights, surfing, camping, biking, growing in knowledge, and applying that knowledge to my life. I absolutely love helping others achieve their God-given potential.

After injuring my back in 2009, I made a vow to be in great shape for the rest of my life. I have kept that vow. Now, I not only pay attention to my fitness level but also live a holistic, healthy lifestyle. I am handing down a legacy. I want to live long and live exceptionally, but my motivation goes much deeper than just my life. It extends to my family, friends, and all the people in my sphere of influence.

My health and fitness isn't just for me, it is a legacy I am leaving for my family.
